The 5 Essential Steps I Used to Manifest the Love of My Life

Imagine you’re a fearless lone wolf.

The day you separated from the pack, you ran deep into the dark woods to see what you were made of.

Sometimes you go days without spotting a rabbit or deer, but your will to survive has always led you to the next meal.

Sometimes your den caves in, forcing you to walk miles in the freezing cold to find shelter. But your perseverance lifts you and delivers you to the next cozy haven.

As a lone wolf, you learn to trust and depend on yourself. You enjoy the freedom of hunting, howling, and sleeping on your schedule.

But you often have flashbacks to when you were a small pup roughhousing with your brothers and sisters and cuddling with your mother at night. Those relationships gave you a warm feeling of belonging — bonds that unleashed a sense of peace, tranquility, and happiness.

As you sit alone under the bright, full moon getting ready to howl, you ponder, “Wouldn’t it be fun to have a howling partner? I mean, we’d be twice as loud.”

A couple of years ago, I, too, had this thought while sitting under a full moon. While I wasn’t planning on howling (at that particular moment), I did imagine life with a partner.

Someone who could take me one-on-one at the park courts, listen to my whacky ideas on non-duality, and laugh with me over a plate of veggies.

As this wild idea floated around the furthest creases of the mental plane, I continued to live my life.

A few months later, along a scenic cliffside path overlooking the Pacific Ocean, I stood face-to-face with my future fiancée.

How did it happen?

1. Make a specific request, then let it go

Thought is a powerful form of energy.

Every thought affects your external world. If you’re oblivious to the power of the mind, you may be unaware of when, how often, and where your thought patterns take you.

You could be unconsciously manifesting everything you don’t want in life.

While you can’t control every thought that enters your head, you can take the reins and steer the mind in a general direction of your choosing.

Conscious thinking allows you to place images in your mind’s eye. These images can display specific future life events or situations you wish to manifest as part of your physical reality.

When I thought of my partner, I requested specific attributes with sensory detail.

I thought of long, beautiful black hair and shiny, tanned skin. I imagined her surrounded by a big, loving family that annoyed her but always supported her.

Like me, I pictured her on a spiritual journey after years of suffering, now prioritizing her health by eating clean and exercising with intensity.

When I visualized our first kiss, it felt like God was breathing the essence of life into my soul.

Then, I forgot all about my dream girl. I let it go.

2. Continue to focus on self-knowledge

You can’t receive love if you don’t give love.

Enroll at the self-love academy to practice giving love to the person who matters most.

What daily habits make you feel like you’re evolving into a more confident, tranquil, and compassionate version of yourself?

Keep doing those, like your future partner depends on it.

Observe your emotions. Stay high and light with EPCO (empathetic patience + curious observation). If an unwelcome emotion sticks its foot inside as you close the door, have back-pocket strategies to send it packing.

Remember, a tweaked perspective is all it takes to transform a sulky, sad Sunday into the BEST DARN DAY OF YOUR LIFE.

Protect your energy.

Are there people who only complain, criticize, and make excuses in your life?

Picture them as energy vampires sucking that vibrant blue energy right on out until you feel weak and helpless. Do yourself a favor; buy that big boy bundle of garlic, and be on your way.

It’s important that you put yourself first.

Attend to your physical, mental, and spiritual health daily. Because right now it’s just you. Add a partner into the mix, and things get crazy.

3. Find your flow state

While rafting down a rocky, rapid-heavy river called self-growth, you enter short sections of calm water where the sun’s rays kiss your face and you become one with life.

It feels like a smooth shift from second to third gear.

One second you’re you, the next second you’re still you, but lighter and happier with a silly grin and a twinkle in your eye.

A flow state is a state of mind.

It’s a state of peace, happiness, and gratitude experienced in the present moment.

It washes over you like a gentle wave as you express love or do something that brings you joy.

About the same time that I thought of my dream girl, I created “The Love Game.”

The love game is simple. It’s so simple that I’m sure I’m not the creator; just a humble participant.

Here it is.

You walk around and mentally shower random people with detailed compliments.

“Look at this dashing young man wearing a full suit, sporting some spiffy polished dress shoes. He’s ready to take on the world, and the world embraces him with open arms. I’m sending him the highest and most loving vibrations the universe offers. May God’s kiss bless him with eternal happiness.”

I played the love game consistently for a week straight and have never felt so high.

Begin to flow with life and witness what flows back to you.

4. Follow your intuition wherever it goes

Once you’re in tune with your intuition, life becomes a game of hide-and-seek. You’re not sure what’s hiding, but you’re seeking because it feels right.

Follow your heart while the ever-calculating mind takes a breather.

Your to-do list has been canceled. Your plan for the day crumpled up and thrown into the trash. Your tight schedule is now fully open. And as you stop rushing to the next thing, you begin to slow down and observe.

You’re open to endless possibilities, scenarios, and situations. Every conversation or experience becomes an opportunity to grow.

And when the universe sends you a message, you pay attention because it could change your life.

It changed mine.

It was December, and I wanted to travel.

I was leaning towards camping out deep in the mountains. I like the mountains. I’d take mountains over the beach any day. But for some reason, I kept receiving this feeling that I should take the bus down to the coast.

So I did.

5. Shoot your shot

I got to the coast at 1 AM.

There were no taxis in sight, so I walked an hour in the dark to a hippie beach town I had set my sights on.

I got to the center of town at 2 AM, and all the hostels were shuttered for the night.

I strolled towards the ocean and found a hidden cove away from the main beach, where I lay down and happily dozed off.

A few hours later, I woke up to the sun creeping up behind the sea.

From then on, the whole day felt like one long massage. I drank nothing but fresh juice and coconut water. Vibrations were high.

I had heard that above the town there was a trail that led to the highest point with the best view of the sunset.

As I walked down a scenic cliffside path overlooking the Pacific Ocean, I stopped in my tracks and smiled.

There she was.

Long, beautiful black hair and shiny tanned skin.

Just how I imagined.
